Quique Sinesi

Quique Sinesi and Marcelo MoguilevskyMoguilevsky is an outstanding musician from the Argentinian scene
His instruments are flutes, clarinet, saxes, harmonica and voice.
Around the year 1984 we did share some concerts with bandoneonist Dino Saluzzi in Argentina, we met again 10 years later in a concert of improvisation with other musicians.
Since then we have played together, first in a free form, then we started playing our own compositions.

Charlie Mariano plays saxes and flutes.

This project was born in 1991. I met Charlie Mariano personally in a recording of the group “Matukana”. I admired him an knew his music and way of playing. Some time later I invited him to record in my CD “Color Cielo” (Genuit Music), then we started to give some concerts in duo. In July 2000 we played in Berlin Passionskirche and some months later Charlie invited me to make a CD in duo with him: “Tango para Charlie” - (Enja Records).

Playing alone is to me the most usual form. It’s an unique experience, because it is possible to have interaction directly with the audience. I like to change the colours of the different guitars and mostly play my own compositions made for these instruments. Using elements of Argentinian folklore and tango with the influence of contemporary world music.
I play 7 strings spanish guitar, Piccolo, Accoustic guitar and charrango.
